The history of Coast Christian Fellowship really began over 30 years ago, when Pastor Rob's pastor, Mike MacIntosh, left Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa to plant Horizon Christian Fellowship. Through Pastor Mike's leadership and obedience to the Spirit, over 100 church and para-church organizations have grown from this one congregation world wide, Coast Christian Fellowship being one of them.

In the Fall of 2004, the Lord began stirring Pastor Rob's heart about beginning a new work. At this time, the where and when were still unknown. After much prayer and waiting, the Lord revealed His desire to plant a new church in Carmel Valley. Beginning in late February, 2005, with a core group of 4 families, Coast Christian Fellowship began meeting every other Saturday afternoon in Carmel Valley parks to pray and plan.

In July, 2005, C.C.F. held their first Sunday Morning Worship Service at the Carmel Valley Rec Center. In September, the church moved to a new location and began meeting at the Carmel Del Mar Elementary School. Because of the continued growth of the church, C.C.F. moved to the Homewood Suites by Hilton in early November of 2005. Our latest move, to the Doubletree Hotel in Carmel Valley took place in February, 2007.
